In my country Indonesia there are millions of illegal gold miners. They use recovery of gold with mercury to process the amalgamation system.

Mercury is extremely damaging to the environment, it is impossible to prohibit and kill these miners, the most effective way in my opinion and I have done since 2006 - 2007 is to educate them about the dangers of mercury and forcing them to use a retort up to NOW!

Retort is a cylindrical tube to recycle mercury, to avoid mercury not to poison the miners, to avoid mercury is quickly exhausted and to avoid mercury does not damage the environment, to avoid mercury does not damage the ground water and damaging the river, to avoid mercury do not damage the natural environment for our children and grandchildren a legacy later in the future.

Since 2007 until today (pls check & refer to my biz blog www.mesinemas.blogspot.com), I did not stop & constantly to provide education to every client of mine from Aceh to Papua even my clients from abroad such as Australia, America, Middle East etc about the use of retorts to protect our beloved earth.

Several times I went straight to the field, socialization of the mine site about how dangerous mercury and the need to co-exist with the use of mercury retorts.

Socialization of the retort is not legalizing the use of mercury but understand that totally prohibits the use of mercury and deny the existence of the illegal miners is impossible, than we just rhetoric and theorizing theory, it is better to act directly in the field by providing free retort along with how to use it.

It's a task that is not easy, because I had to fend for themselves, after all these years, I thought, I was full consideration to invite investors and environmentalists to support my steps to distribute retort free of charge to all illegal gold miners in Indonesia (and other part of worldwide) to supports the campaign # fight2mercury to save the earth and the future of our grandchildren.

Re retort technical, there are two types of retorts are :
1. Heat retort, retort evaporation aided by heating from fire
2. Air Press retort, in the press with an air compressor

As for the price of Heat retort US$ 35/pc & Air Press retort US$ 65/pc.


For instance there are 2.5 million illegal gold miners who use Mercury, 20% percent of their wear and without the use of Mercury retorts, means there is a potential of 500.000 thousand miners who needed help & need 1 pc retort. 

Retort also fast moving part, it only can stand around 1 - 3 month/pc, depend on how to handle it or using it.

First aid is education about how dangerous Mercury for the earth and our children and education both regarding the importance of the use of retorts to their day-to-day.

I want to come one by one starting location Aceh to Papua, with the support of time, effort and capital that is enough, I will give two things above are to miners.

During this time I had already ventured into some illegal miners locations ranging from Aceh to Papua with a distance of approximately 8000 kilometers (distance Sabang in Aceh until Merauke in Papua about 8514 kilometers!), That time I only provide services about education about how dangerous the use of Mercury for mineral gold processing, I have not been distributed free retort, then if the Indonesian people and the world sincerely willing to support my step, I will share it for free education and retorts to all illegal gold miners who still use Mercury.

Slowly but surely, then I'll take the illegal gold miners who use Mercury to try other business to feed their family or directing them to use of environment friendly chemicals or other materials that can extraction gold which environmentally friendly such 8 Methylxantine, Thiourea, Corn Starch etc
